Maintenance Engineer

with a mechanical bias to join their team.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Typical Responsibilities include:

Respond with adherence to equipment breakdowns and PPM schedules to the required engineering standard.

Always adhere to strong safety standards and compliance to current procedures.

Liaise with Team Leader in respect of equipment breakdown prioritisation.

Diagnose faults, test, repair and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery to relevant engineering standard.

Service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner, and carry out planned, preventative and corrective maintenance to agreed schedules.

Adhere to relevant H&S, quality, environmental and product safety procedures as well as isolation procedures, permits to work and any other legal and statutory regulations.

Keep their working environment safe, clean and tidy and adhere to Hygiene standards, procedures and work to a "clean as you go" policy.

PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential:

Completed formal multi skilled apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.

NVQ3/C&G/ONC level.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Personal Traits & Skills:

Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to forge strong working relationships.

Highly organized, driven, and energetic, with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Positive "can-do" attitude, with a willingness to learn and go the extra mile to deliver commitments.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy and due diligence in all processes.
