Mason James are partnered with an industry leading UK food manufacturing business based in the Middlesborough area. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
You will take an active part in maintaining, developing, and improving plant machinery and services. This will involve a variety of duties ranging from promptly repairing breakdowns to installing new equipment. PLC and HMI controls are integral to production equipment performing efficiently.
Working Hours & Salary:
Hours: 12 hour shift, 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotating days and nights) Salary: £43,000 per annum + overtime paid at basic & Night Shift Allowance. Key Accountabilities:
To swiftly respond to machine breakdowns effectively prioritising maintenance support in conjunction with line leader/supervisor. To carry out maintenance and repairs to all equipment as required. Daily duties will include: Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors (wire & belt). Installations, fault-finding, Inspections, Servicing. Planned preventative maintenance. Maintenance, installations, and repair of electrical/mechanical equipment. Skills and Qualifications:
A proven track record and strong engineering background. 2+ years' experience as an Engineer within manufacturing/maintenance. Good knowledge of fault finding and preventative maintenance. The ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative. Benefits:
