In this role, you will service and repair electrical and mechanical equipment used within the Bletchley facility. This will be a combination of planned preventative work requests and reactive work for breakdowns. In this location, you will work within a team of multi-skilled engineers and contractors to maintain, install and improve the performance of manufacturing plant. The work environment is the workshop, production facility or office. What you’ll do: Maintain the Bletchley facility, plant, safety equipment and systems to comply with GMP standards and Health, Safety & Environment requirements, notably ATEX regulations Use and develop the Preventative Planned Maintenance system to identify and repair faults and minimise unscheduled shutdowns Implement the Company Safety and Environment policy to provide a healthy and safe working environment for staff working on site and anyone who may be affected by maintenance activities Maintain inspection systems, procedures & schedules to ensure that the highest standards of housekeeping, product quality and safety are maintained Participate in the Engineering Call Out Rota What you’ll bring: A strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting work done Identify and drive continuous improvements Always conduct yourself positively and professionally, and treat others in an accepting, respectful manner regardless of culture or background Demonstrable experience of an engineering or maintenance function, gained within a chemical, process, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment A recognised apprenticeship or other formal vocational qualification in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines What you’ll get: Opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues, onsite 5 days per week An excellent salary, benefit offering and development opportunities A thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyond About Sensient Flavors: Sensient Flavors offers innovative, global taste solutions and specialized flavor delivery systems that help bring life to your food and beverage products.
