Job Overview
We are seeking a semi multi-skilled maintenance engineer. The duties involve working primarily in commercial catering kitchens. This is a multi-skilled role where the successful candidate will confidently maintain various services within a commercial kitchen and adapt to varying work.
Duties
Maintain and repair commercial sink services, plumbing specifically in the commercial environment.
Repair and replace wall coverings such as ceramic tiles or PVC wall cladding.
Repair and re-decorate wall finishes such as painting.
Repair and replace floor coverings, including small areas of tile or vinyl flooring.
Assist on larger equipment installations supervised by skilled members of staff.
Carry out deliveries of equipment to sites alone or as part of a team.
Requirements
Some mechanical and plumbing knowledge.
Some tiling and decorating skills.
Full UK driving license.
DBS clearance, required for all site work.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for clear communication.
Proven customer service skills to interact positively with internal teams and external clients.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
A logical approach to problem-solving with keen attention to detail.
Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay : £12.21 per hour
Expected hours : 9 – 40 per week
