BASIC SALARY:

Up to £35,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician

As our Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our machinery and equipment covering CNC, NC and more. One day you could be performing routine maintenance, next day troubleshooting or diagnosing a mechanical / hydraulic issue, and repairing it to minimise downtime.

Your role will be a combination of: Reactive breakdowns of machinery in our workshop Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues covering a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic issues Perform repairs, replacements, and upgrades Work closely with other engineering team members to ensure timely completion of your maintenance tasks Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Adhere to our health and safety regulations and company policies.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician

You'll be proactive and self-motivated, an Engineer who can react and adapt in a heavy manufacturing and production environment when engineering problems arise. You'll be a team player with a broad mechanical background, and the hunger to apply your experience to our machinery and equipment.

You will: Be mechanically trained with knowledge of various hydraulic and pneumatic systems (not necessarily CNC / Conventional machines) Be a fantastic problem-solver Be able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings / schematics Understand the importance of health and safety

We don't mind your mechanical engineering related qualifications.

Maybe you went down the apprentice route and gained NVQ's, more college based with C&G, or maybe you went into further education and came out with a HNC / HND or degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
