Permanent – Continental Shifts I am currently looking for Maintenance Engineers to provide both mechanical and electrical maintenance support working on a wide range of plant and equipment in a busy production environment. Ensuring breakdowns are attended to and resolved quickly to maintain minimal downtime and disruption to the production process, you will be expected to: Carry out routine inspections on various plant and equipment, performing repair work during normal production activity while providing engineering solutions to assist and maximize operational capacity. Undertake fault-finding and problem-solving work on a wide range of equipment including PLC and drive control to ensure minimum downtime, implementing root cause analysis. Log breakdowns and issues accurately and effectively using software systems provided. Work with the team to oversee the installation of new and existing plant. You will be qualified to ONC or HND / HNC in a related discipline, at least a City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 – ideally in Electrical, Maintenance, or Manufacturing Engineering.
