Duties of the Maintenance Engineer include:
4 on / 4 off Continental Shift (2 days/2 nights)
Install and/or maintain plant machinery
Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system
Fault finding and repairing any electrical or electro-mechanical related problems
Ensure that all plant and machinery is kept in a good working and clean condition
Program all Siemens & other PLC equipment (Desirable)
Assist with the installation of new plant equipment
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
Electrical apprentice trained
HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering
17th / 18th edition qualified
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment; ideally heavy manufacturing
Siemens S7 knowledge
Excellent fault-finding abilities
Pneumatics
