Maintenance Engineer, up to £44,000 per annum, Shift - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 5:45 am - 2:15 pm/ 1:45 pm- 10:15 pm), Permanent, Sherborne. Are you an experienced and skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing? We have an outstanding opportunity for you to join one of the leading employers in the region, highly valuing its employees. As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the daily manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance as needed. Supporting the engineering management in the continuous improvement programme. Prioritising engineering issues to minimise downtime. Completing all documentation in a timely manner. Assisting with facilities maintenance and development. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong track record of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. To be considered, you must have: Previous experience in a similar role. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office or ERP systems. BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) certification. BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification. 2391 Testing and Inspection certification. Ideal candidates will have an apprentice-trained manufacturing/production background.
