Maintenance Engineer - Chester at TXM
TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer in the Snodland, Kent area. It is working on a large distribution on a long-term contract for one of the UK's leading retail distribution companies. The job will cover general weekly, monthly and quarterly checks, planned and unplanned maintenance duties as well as general fabric checks around the facility. Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with overtime on offer. Hourly Pay Rate:
£17.48 (PAYE), paid weekly on Fridays. Contract Duration:
Temporary contract for 6-8 months, with potential for extension. Safe & Legal Checks
Weekly, monthly and 3 monthly checks Yard inspection Legionella Fire alarms Emergency doors Emergency lights Loading bays PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance)
If there has been a near miss or an incident at another store Implementing prevention methods for incidents (e.g., loading bay dock leveller issues) UPMs (Unplanned Preventative Maintenance)
