Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician , you will play a key role in the engineering team, preferably with an electrical bias, ensuring effective maintenance to cover the factory. Responsibilities include: Maintaining plant and equipment to meet business and legal standards. Improving machine efficiency and preventing unplanned downtime. Developing and supporting the Planned Preventative Maintenance System with recommendations for improvements. Completing checklists to ensure adherence to maintenance plans. Supporting the introduction of new manufacturing equipment and services. Liaising with equipment suppliers and contractors for repairs and breakdowns. Skills & Experience Essential: Electrical/Mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in PLC programming and interrogation (Siemens S7/S5, Allen Bradley, Omron, Yaskawa). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate. Experience with load cell tension control and working with three-phase/single-phase circuits. Ability to work at heights using access equipment. ONC qualification in a relevant discipline. Desirable: HNC qualification. IOSH or Health & Safety certification. Compex (DSEAR) qualification. Valid UK driving licence (preferred). Why Should You Apply?
