A global manufacturer of a wide range of high-quality products for the aerospace and defence sectors is seeking an electrical maintenance engineer to join their well-established team on the weekend shift. This position offers a salary of circa 54.5K plus overtime availability, a quarterly bonus, and an amazing benefits package.
Responsibilities for the electrical maintenance engineer include:
To provide electrical maintenance to a range of machinery including CNC, EDM, manual, robots, conveyors, welding and finishing equipment Reacting to urgent breakdowns, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum Electrical repairs to motors, drives, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring, switches, relays, contactors, sensors PLC fault finding to trace back faults Following PPM's to ensure all equipment is routinely serviced and inspected To be successful in the role of electrical maintenance engineer, we're looking for:
Previous experience as an electrical maintenance engineer, maintaining production machinery Apprentice trained, along with a recognized electrical engineering qualification Ability to carry out repairs and breakdown response effectively through PPM's Understanding and interpreting electrical drawings Flexibility towards working permanent weekend shifts Benefits include:
