We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth running of my clients fast-paced manufacturing plant in Telford. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining machinery, troubleshooting, and supporting the broader facility. Client Details Our client is a globally recognised, large organisation within the FMCG industry. With an established presence in Telford, they pride themselves on producing high-quality consumer goods that are used and loved by families across the globe. Description Liaise with external equipment suppliers and service providers. Perform all aspects of mechanical, electrical and preventative types of maintenance on various high-speed and packaging machinery; Read electrical prints and perform basic wiring; Prioritise PM and AM activities with the weekly schedule; Understands principle centered coaching leadership and humble questioning; Coaching and qualifying aspects of AM and PM activities with employees within the process; Organise and execute duties as advised by the Operations Manager and Maintenance Lead; Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are low cost, high quality producer; Ensure quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines; Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, Housekeeping responsibilities, and QRMP operating procedures; Flexibility to adjust schedule to work with employees from all shifts as required; Pro active approach to problem solving; Maintain accurate records using the SAP system; Organise follow-up work; To work safely at all times and adhere to company policies; Identify improvements to machinery and processes working within the CI team; Perform other related duties as assigned. 2 Days 2 Nights - 12 Hours - Days & Nights rotating Profile You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer/Technician from a Manufacturing background, along with: A recognised engineering qualification (Minimum Level 3) Knowledge and understanding of production machinery and equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A proactive approach to health and safety. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
