Maintenance Engineer
West Bromwich
£45,894 + overtime
Friday, Saturday, Sunday off - EVERY WEEK! Lifestyle balance shift: Week 1: 6am – 4pm Monday - Thursday Week 2: 8pm - 6am (nights) Monday - Thursday Fri/Sat/Sun off

My Client have a requirement for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their already successful team. They are considered part of the medium/heavy industry and some of the machines you will be working on include slitters, presses, sheers, blanking lines, cranes and more machinery. You will need to have good knowledge of working with 3-phase motors, contactors, sensors, relays etc. PLC knowledge isn’t a deal breaker. They would consider mechanically bias with electrical skills also. Benefits for the maintenance engineer: Overtime paid at a premium at weekends for the maintenance engineer
31 days annual leave increasing to 36 after 5 years!
Sick Day Bonus – if an employee has had 3 days absence or less in the previous (full) year, the employee will receive an extra days holiday
Service Days – will increase by one day each year to a maximum of 5 days, once the employee has completed 5 years service
Pension – The Company will contribute 5.5% and employees is required to contribute a minimum of 3.5% of annual earnings.
Experience required for the maintenance engineer: Have at least three year’s experience repairing an maintaining special purpose plant machinery – electrically biased ideal but would look at mech bias with electrical skills
Exp. With heavy industry is advantageous but not a deal breaker
Ability to read schematic
drawings/electrical
wiring diagrams/ worked with 3-phase motors, sensors, drives, contactors, relays
