Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, boilers, pumps, and other building infrastructure. Fault Diagnosis and Repair:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures efficiently to minimize downtime. Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and building standards. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including maintenance schedules and repair logs. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other engineers and building management teams to coordinate tasks and respond to urgent issues.
Essential Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within commercial buildings. Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and building management systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Full UK driving license (if travel to multiple sites is required).
