Our client is a market-leading Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer, seeking a lead maintenance engineer to join their team. The role will be responsible for the maintenance of site machinery as well as managing a team of maintenance engineers around their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Lead
Take direction from Site Services manager Direct and develop maintenance technicians Support other group leaders / department managers' needs Address concerns raised by work team members and provide feedback Escalate serious concerns on machines and equipment immediately to operations manager Respect company systems and procedures Respect customer quality standards Ensure TPM system is defined and operating to include corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance Conduct FMEA to identify all critical parts Maintain tool maintenance and improvement request system Implement maintenance workshop and stores 5S system Design reporting format and establish data recording Conduct bi-annual PDR with team members Define safe systems of work Report daily performance information into operations review meeting Establish a library of drawings and manuals for all machines and auxiliary equipment Review PDCA action plans weekly Qualifications & Experience - Maintenance Lead
Technical qualification in maintenance Electrical and/or Mechanical experience Knowledge of maintenance management systems Team leadership experience Strong organisational skills and a systems approach Knowledge of injection and paint process Experience of working with service suppliers
