We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee asset maintenance and support operations, ensuring reliability and performance of cutting-edge hydrogen refuelling equipment.

The Maintenance Manager will focus on the upkeep and performance of hydrogen refuelling systems, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining asset efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Competencies

Knowledge of hydrogen refuelling technologies and compliance standards (e.g., HAZOP, DSEAR). Experience in producing detailed RAMS for technical operations. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.

Leadership

Experience managing technical teams in a workshop environment. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Other Requirements

Commitment to safety and sustainability. Flexibility to travel to client sites for maintenance operations.

Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

Education

Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in hydrogen or renewable energy sectors. Strong background in asset lifecycle management and maintenance planning.

Asset Maintenance and Support

Develop and manage maintenance programs for deployed hydrogen refuelling equipment. Lead technician teams to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Coordinate technicians for prototype builds, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all maintenance and prototype operations. Monitor asset performance, analysing data to anticipate and prevent failures. Address maintenance issues promptly, liaising with clients to provide technical solutions. Ensure adherence to compliance standards (e.g., HAZOP, DSEAR) and implement safety protocols.

Leadership and Team Management

Manage a team of technicians, providing training and support to build technical capabilities. Coordinate resources to address maintenance and prototype priorities effectively. Collaborate with project management and procurement teams to streamline maintenance operations.

Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes. Stay updated on technological advancements in hydrogen refuelling systems to enhance service quality.
