Date Added: 02/01/25 Location: Smethwick, Sandwell Description: An established recycling company based in Smethwick requires a heavy plant maintenance manager. Duties:

Direct supervision of, and first point of contact for the maintenance team. Managing holidays, absence, shifts, and arranging cover when required. General maintenance and repairs of mobile and fixed plant, including - forklift trucks, 360 excavators, loading shovels, shredders, conveyors and other general recycling plant machinery. Ensuring maintenance schedule is adhered to. Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and fix. Ensuring critical spares stock is reported and repair sheets are completed. Advise operators on basic operator maintenance. Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures. Requirements:

Supervisory / management and maintenance repair experience in a recycling heavy plant environment. Familiarity with the operation of a wide range of mobile and fixed recycling plant machinery. Health and Safety training. Hours:

7am to 4pm Monday to Friday. This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
