Your new company An industry leader in the manufacturing sector, known for their commitment to quality and innovation, is seeking a Maintenance Manager with experience within the manufacturing industry. This company offers an established and dominant presence within their given market and job security only found in a player of this size. Following a recent promotion within the maintenance team, this team is looking for a leader with experience to guide and direct the maintenance team to greater heights of performance. Your new role As the Manufacturing Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing maintenance schedules, supervising a team of technicians, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. You will play a crucial role in minimising downtime and enhancing productivity. Your leadership abilities will have to be excellent as you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentorship to your team, building an environment and culture of performance and consistency. Implementing preventative maintenance programs for the entire site's machinery. Ensuring safety and quality is paramount. Coordination of an entire team of maintenance engineers. Keeping an appropriate record of all maintenance work and schedules in line with the company's policies. Collaborating with individuals of all levels to ensure optimum function and communication throughout the business. Stick adherence to Health and Safety guidelines. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in your application for this Maintenance Manager, you will: Have a proven history in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment, mechanical or electrical. Have proven examples of experience in a supervisory role in some form. Have exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering or something similar.
