ReSource Waste Services of Roxbury is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment including light/heavy equipment, trucks, plant equipment such as conveyors and sorting equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.
Fabricate and weld parts as needed.
Maintain accurate paperwork and records of maintenance activities, document part usage and work order times.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Position Requirements:
Works in a garage facility approx. 8-10 hours per day but working in all types of environment is necessary.
Have personal tools.
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industry maintenance.
Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Other tasks as assigned.
