Our client based in East London provides housing management services in partnership with local authorities and is currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to manage works in large block buildings, houses, or flats. You must have a maintenance background and be a driver. You will be required to meet the demands of their tenants and interact with residents on site. Every day you will be provided with a schedule of works and a list of jobs for that day.

Job Responsibilities:
Dealing with any emergency callouts (on rota once every 4 weeks; overtime is paid)
General maintenance work
Driving to different locations as per daily schedule
Ensuring good customer service is provided to tenants and other service users
Preferred Skills:
Experience in plumbing
Experience in electrical work
Experience in painting and decorating
Experience in guttering
Experience in waste removal
Carpentry skills (hanging doors)
Experience changing locks
