The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working with equipment such as packaging, filling, conveyors and processing machinery within a high speed automated environment. Working closely with production, operations & technical to improve standards and manufacturing efficiencies. You will be responsible for the training & development of the engineering team and demonstrate knowledge of continuous improvement, PPM systems, reactive maintenance and budgetary control. In addition to this you will ideally have knowledge and experience of GMP & HACCP standards as well as managing a team of multi skilled engineers and therefore ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of this high speed manufacturing plant.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of an automated production facility and the ability to work within and manage a team or autonomously as required, you will report in to the Engineering Manager and this will lead to a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to senior management within this secure organisation.
