Would you like to work for an established Facilities Maintenance provider? An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider working in a Commercial Office Building in Cambridge. GH Engage are currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to work in a Large Commercial Building in Cambridge. The ideal candidate would live in commuting distance to Cambridge. The successful candidate will be carrying out maintenance and reactive tasks on site, with a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in commercial maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Maintenance Supervisor currently in a similar position who is keen on training and a new opportunity. The successful candidate will have experience within Electrical Maintenance carrying out installs, repairs, HV Shutdowns and maintenance. In return, the company is offering up to £52,000 with overtime, training, and development. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Supervise contracted and reactive M&E and fabric maintenance services in accordance with statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations. Day-to-day liaison with customers and their representatives regarding service delivery and additional works. Support the contract manager in the preparation of additional works quotations. Ensure a professional image of the company is presented to clients and end users at all times, exhibiting a high level of customer service delivery. Supervise, support, and develop a technically competent engineering team, ensuring all duties are carried out safely. Manage the day-to-day operation and administration of safe systems of work processes. Develop client relationships to maximize opportunities for additional revenue and contract retention. Respond to client needs for technical support to maximize asset life expectancy and reliability. Ensure that critical spares are available for maintenance of installed plant and systems. Ensure all sub-contractor and material purchases comply with company-wide procurement procedures. Support the Contract Manager with month-end financial procedures to ensure WIP, accruals, and purchase commitments are updated monthly. Attend meetings with the Customer and other Stakeholders as required. Provide supporting cover for other team members. Ensure maintenance records and supporting documentation are completed to required standards. Ensure subcontractors are supervised to comply with contractual requirements and site operating protocols. Identify and scope additional work opportunities correctly, including necessary resources, materials, plant, supervision, and management. Supervise PPM (statutory and routine), reactive, and additional works to ensure timely delivery in accordance with contracted service levels. Identify additional work opportunities and provide input into scope, resourcing, costing, and completion timescales. Required Skills: Level 3 in Electrical 18th Edition HVAP (Current or Expired) Experience in a building services environment. If this role is of interest, please feel free to apply!
