This is an exciting opportunity to supervise the London/Croydon Maintenance team and operation. The successful candidate will undertake, test and complete inspection of various building services and equipment in addition to routine and general maintenance tasks at our London and Croydon sites, as well as covering the team when needed.

This role will require site visits to all Chanel locations to check work standards of engineers and contractors, stock levels and compliance paperwork.

What impact you can create at Chanel:

Support Maintenance Managers with the efficient day-to-day management of the Maintenance department. Assist Maintenance Manager to mentor and guide Maintenance Engineers work performance, chair meetings with the team and offering one-on-one guidance where needed. Actively drive the team to achieve targets, completing requests in a timely manner and keeping all relevant parties updated on task progress. Provide expertise and advice for the maintenance team, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and authorities. Ensure the latest procedures are always updated and the team are fully aware. Share relevant information with other departments as appropriate, whilst remaining reliable, supportive and flexible at all times. What you will bring to the role:

An understanding of building maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating. Good time management. Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to liaise comfortably and appropriately within all levels of the business. Highly self-motivated and directed. You are energised by:
