£34,000 per annum Are you a supervisor looking for work? Our client, a well-known social housing refurbishment contractor responsible for the maintenance of 1000s of properties across the East, is recruiting for an experienced working supervisor to oversee the running of a busy voids and repairs maintenance programme across the Peterborough area. Duties include pre-survey/site audit of kitchen & bathroom repairs and managing operatives on site. Main duties and responsibilities include: Overseeing site operations of sub-contractors and site personnel working mainly on housing upgrades (involving kitchen & bathroom fittings), ensuring work is carried out correctly and health and safety compliance is adhered to at all times. Supporting the senior management in the needs of the business. Maintaining and monitoring excellent standards of work and client satisfaction. Arranging materials to site as required. Surveying of properties. Minimum Requirements: Asbestos awareness. Experience of working in Social Housing. Driving license - no more than 3 points. Desirable Requirements: Supervisory skills and experience. Experience in Maintenance and Repair. Trade qualification/background. Troubleshooting abilities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent record-keeping skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Experience in the maintenance field or related industry. Relevant certification or training in maintenance supervision. Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. 30 minutes lunch. Van and fuel card included from start.
