You will join our Maintenance Team with multi-skilled maintenance engineers. The department works on all areas of maintenance for the plant equipment and site and involves preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machines, assembly processes, and robotics. As Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead and carry out breakdown repairs/project work, support and organise prevention follow-up activities, and lead maintenance and factory-based improvement projects. What you can look forward to as Maintenance Team Leader:

Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner. Regularly check the status of the team activities to ensure timely progress on open issues and projects. Lead maintenance with regards to factory-based improvement projects. Provide support for maintenance prevention activities. Organise the team and understand production priorities to minimise response times. Provide reports and maintain agreed KPIs. Lead by example by promoting a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude. Manage the machine spares testing process. Work on breakdowns when required. Use SAP or other IT tools to plan and document all activities. Your Profile as Maintenance Team Leader:

HNC in a maintenance-related discipline. City & Guilds in a maintenance-related discipline. NEBS/ILM Level 2 Supervisory Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Time-served background in a maintenance/engineering discipline. Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality. Supervising team across multiple shifts with the ability to communicate with clarity, both verbally and in written form. Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together. Practical hands-on approach to problem-solving with the ability to plan, analyse and challenge, as well as high levels of motivation and action orientation. Why you should choose ZF in Darlaston:
