ARE YOU A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WHO IS MULTI SKILLED? DO YOU HAVE BOTH MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SKILLS? ARE YOU A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT? Maintenance Technician required for a well-established market-leading manufacturer who is currently in a phase of growth. You will benefit from working within state-of-the-art facilities. The company invests in their staff and offers great training and development opportunities. The role would suit multi-skilled maintenance engineers or technicians with strong mechanical and electrical experience. You will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent. Maintenance technicians must have a manufacturing background. Engineers transferring from a plastics manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply. Mechanically, you will be competent working on hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes. Electrically, you will be confident with 3 phase electrics, AC DC motors, sensors, drives, and be able to fault find on PLCs. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work alongside a team of engineers. You will carry out reactive maintenance on a range of production and packaging machinery and be responsible for the upkeep of the pre-planned maintenance schedule. Due to ongoing projects and investment, you will be actively involved in machinery strip down and rebuild, upgrades, and installation work. You will carry out basic facilities maintenance as and when it is necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at an exciting phase of investment and growth.
