Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician focuses on carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic systems across production equipment.
What the role involves
- Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic systems across production equipment.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise machinery reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and implement effective, long-term solutions to minimise downtime.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment performance (OEE).
- Maintaining and service site equipment, utilities, and general mechanical systems.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Skills and requirements
- £35,000 – £45,000 (Experience Dependent).
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Strong mechanical maintenance background within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
