Maintrol Engineer focuses on managing scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance activities.
What the role involves
- Managing scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities.
- Monitor Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs).
- Supporting aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination and oversight of crew duty‑time limitations.
- Provide real‑time technical assistance to flight crews and engineers.
- Coordinating information flow following aircraft incidents and contribute to recovery planning.
- Allocate aircraft in line with operational, engineering and maintenance priorities.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
Confirmed role details
- This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester.
- 5-5-4 shift pattern, guaranteed 2 weekends off per month (days and nights).
- £78,000 (inclusive of shift pay).
- Staff Travel benefits including unlimited basic and premium standby tickets on worldwide flights.
