The successful candidate will be based at Paddock Wood Make Ready. There may be a requirement for travel across other sites. The post holder will be required to work some weekend duties which will attract unsocial hours payments. There is also a requirement to be on call for approximately 1 week in 5 for which an on-call premia of 4.5% is provided. Main duties of the job

The Make Ready Centre Manager is responsible for all aspects of resource provision within the Operating Unit. This includes: Day to day management of our Make Ready Centre at Banstead and the wider Trust estate within the OU footprint, ensuring all Trust facilities are safe, secure and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Ensuring operational staff and resources are planned in accordance with projected demand. Contributing towards a high performance/high efficiency culture, minimising avoidable resource downtime. Leadership of staff working within the Make Ready and Scheduling teams. About us

Qualifications/Training

CMI Level 6 or equivalent experience. Knowledge

GRS Competence. Resource Planning Experience. Fleet Management Experience. HFMA Qualification. Experience

Leading people. Management of Contractors & Third Party Suppliers. Project management. Regulatory compliance / audit. Investigating untoward incidents. Skills

Proven ability to make judgements involving highly complex facts or situations, which require analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options. Ability to plan a range of programmes which impact across teams / directorates. Demonstrable research and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including motivational, negotiating, relationship building, and influencing skills. Ability to regularly run reports and/or statistical reports using the Trust's infrastructure. Personal Qualities

Ability to work on his/her own and in a team. Ability to re-allocate staff and tasks on a daily basis to meet organisational objectives. Flexible approach to working due to varied responsibilities. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
