£13.00 per hour Car driver with full U.K. clean driving licence essential Momin is a lovely 15-year-old young boy who enjoys being at home with his family and researching new things on his tablet or phone. Momin has ASD and mobility issues, relying on a wheelchair for mobility. He has a very good memory and can remember all the FIFA football teams, countries, and their players. Momin likes to play FIFA and is good at Capital Cities, sharing his knowledge with friends and family. He enjoys writing funny stories, creating jokes, and sharing them with family members. Momin likes to play on his electronic tablet and is particularly interested in biography books, cars, trucks, football cards, and Lego. Momin is looking for a PA who can share experiences and encourage him to attend outside activities to aid his social skills. Activities Momin would like to participate in include swimming, visiting the park, attending football matches, exploring the Hancock Museum, local libraries, and other venues. He is also keen to start horse-riding. We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in working with children with Autism. You must be physically fit enough to manage a wheelchair and assist Momin in and out of his chair. Some personal care will be involved in this role, including toileting. There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male/female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
