Management Accountant

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will identify opportunities and threats to the programme's performance through insightful analysis. You'll collaborate with various teams to take appropriate actions, enhancing reporting, decision-making, and commercial returns.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Monitor Reports: Create and oversee reports that provide insights into current and future financial performance, aiding decision-makers. Own Month End Prepare Financial Models: Develop cost models, cashflows, and forecasts for programme bids and budgets. Track budgets and forecasts against actuals to identify variances. Verify Business Data: Ensure business performance data and programme management reporting align with business systems, delivering timely profitability analysis. Stock and WIP Management: Track and report on stock and work-in-progress (WIP) movements, working with sales, purchasing, planning, and build teams. Support External Reporting: Prepare financial reports and analysis for key manufacturers. Present Financial Information: Communicate financial information clearly to operational teams to support effective decision-making. Communicate with Teams: Ensure financial information reflects the programme's realities by liaising with finance and operational teams. Improve Management Information: Enhance management information for leadership and programme managers. Monitor Variances: Track actual and forecast variances for programmes and departments, becoming the go-to person for financial information. Ideal Candidate:

Experience in Business Partnering or Senior Management Accountant roles within a similar environment. Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in IT systems, especially Microsoft Excel. CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to create financial and non-financial reports for operational and executive use. Capability to influence outcomes and add value. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and articulate data insights. Collaborative and influential style.
