A rapidly expanding contracting and B2B sales Company is looking to recruit a PQ Accountant to work closely with the FC to provide proactive accounting support to the operational and commercial teams.
Opportunity:
Progress to Finance Manager role, with responsibility for 2 members of the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare financial analysis and commentary for inclusion in the monthly management report, including collation and review of other report sections. Regularly review and periodically update standard product costs. Obtain, interpret and analyse data and take a proactive role in helping the senior leadership team understand financial information. Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations. Monitor general ledger transactions and prepare schedules for internal and external audits. Process and reconcile intergroup transactions. Responsible for year-end processes including ensuring year-end stock counts are carried out appropriately and that inventory is valued appropriately on the balance sheet. Prepare payroll information for inclusion in monthly payments. Submit and have responsibility for other monthly reporting requirements including quarterly VAT submissions. Process and submit information for monthly CIS returns. Develop the existing Business Central system to benefit the department and the Company.
Office based but some opportunity for hybrid working if required. On-site free parking. Opportunity to progress to Finance Manager and further.
