Management Accountant - Commercial Finance Team Battle We are seeking a Management Accountant, on behalf of our clients, to join their dynamic Commercial Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts for their key client contracts, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flows, variance analysis, KPIs, and supporting commentaries, all in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and reporting deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

Produce comprehensive financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, cash flows, variance analysis, and supporting commentaries. Collaborate with commercial colleagues to create budgets and forecasts for contracts, monitoring performance against agreed targets and KPIs. Provide accurate and meaningful analysis to the Commercial Finance Manager, supporting decision-making at the contract level. Take ownership of the contract management accounts and reporting models, ensuring deadlines are met. Work as a member of the team to meet internal reporting objectives and contribute to strategic and operational goals. Support designated projects. Ensure compliance with financial controls, processes, and relevant regulations. Proactively resolve issues, adopting a flexible approach and creating innovative solutions to balance risk, reward, and compliance. Identify improvements through root cause analysis, recommend and implement new ways of working, and gain the support of stakeholders and colleagues. Ensure a high level of customer service is consistently provided to both internal and external stakeholders. Experience and Qualifications:

ACA / CIMA / ACCA / AAT or equivalent. Accounting experience, ideally in a commercial finance role. Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong understanding of accounting and reporting systems, legislation, and statutory and regulatory frameworks. Strong analytical abilities with an eye for detail and effective problem-solving capabilities. A proactive approach to continuous improvement, challenging existing processes and implementing better ways of working. Familiarity with Financial Reporting Standards and global accounting practices, with the ability to apply them in practice.
