Hays Accountancy & Finance are seeking a qualified accountant to assist with our client's finance function, providing management accounts, variance analysis, leading a small team and reporting to the senior management team on a timely basis.
Your new role
Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts. Reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts. Acting as a business partner to internal customers, addressing financial queries and providing trusted advice to support budget holders in achieving financial targets. Reviewing and refining end-to-end financial processes and controls to ensure best practices. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the UK and ROI, such as VAT returns, government surveys, and company filings.
What you'll need to succeed
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Previous experience in industry or qualified by experience ERP experience desirable The ideal candidate will have previous experience within FMCG
