Description As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in running the finance department, running monthly reports and month-end close down. Key duties will include: Producing monthly management accounts Posting journals, accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Stock control and reconciliation Managing cost activities and control Preparing budgets and forecasting, with variance analysis and commentary Preparing performance reports for all departments, sales and margins Responsibility for job costing and profitability reports Supporting with year-end duties
Profile The successful applicant for the Management Accountant role must be: Part qualified CIMA/ACCA Experience of management accounts Good reporting experience Strong Excel skills - extract/manipulate data Good organisational skills Supervisory experience is advantageous Ability to use own initiative
