Job Description
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper / management accountant to manage bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Based in Farnham with hybrid working options after induction, this role involves both client interaction and team management, along with hands-on bookkeeping as needed. Key Responsibilities: Manage bookkeeping and reconciliations for a portfolio of clients. Prepare management accounts and month-end reviews. Review client entries, advising on corrections and efficiency improvements. Prepare, review, and file VAT returns, including liaising with HMRC. Provide client training and occasional onsite visits to resolve bookkeeping issues. Requirements 2-3 years' experience, ideally in an accountancy practice. AAT qualified (or equivalent). Strong experience with Xero (or similar software). Knowledge of VAT, CIS, and management accounts. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data entry skills. Experience with CCH software is a plus.
