A thriving manufacturing business based in Bridlington are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum (DOE) and a range of other benefits, including attractive working hours and 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the day-to-day finance function, including financial controls and systems development. Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports. Supporting cash flow forecasting and preparing budgets/forecasts. Managing intercompany recharges and overseeing VAT returns. Working closely with suppliers and supporting annual audit processes. Accounting for imports/exports and managing weekly payroll. Providing insights and analysis to support the senior management team. To be successful in this Management Accountant role, you will ideally have:
Proven experience in a senior financial role. Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks, as well MS Excel knowledge. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders and wider team. Relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is advantageous, but not essential. Individuals who are qualified by experience (QBE) or AAT qualified will equally be considered. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing business.
