Excellent opportunity to be part of a an iconic business Progressive and dynamic environment About Our Client Our North Kent based client, a leading and iconic player within their field, are seeking a full time and permanent Management Accountant to join their inclusive FP&A team. Job Description Management Accountant duties include; Completing various elements of the month end process, including analysing and investigating variances to forecast and budget, calculating month-end adjustments and reviewing activity for potential mistimed transactions. Contributing to the preparation of the consolidated annual budget and cash flow forecast for the Group. Analysing Group and divisional budgets and forecasts against prior year / quarter. Preparation of financial reports and presentation thereof to senior management. Investigating/identifying improvements to financial reports on an ongoing basis. Assisting with writing the Group Reforecast management reports. Reviewing departmental submissions, ensuring any discrepancies are resolved. Assisting in the preparation and analysis for quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. Support the wider Finance department to ensure tax compliance (VAT, Corp Tax and CIS) Reviewing and seeking to enhance existing financial processes and procedures. The Successful Applicant The successful Management Accountant should have: A formal qualification is preferred (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Management accounting and statutory accounting experience Experience working within a compliance focused environment Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and presentation skills A highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Experience of working with Power BI is advantageous What's on Offer 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Hybrid working pattern Chance to work within within an exciting industry Benefits to be confirmed upon briefing call
