Our Client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant who is ready to step up into a Financial Controller opportunity, to reduce the reliance on the fractional FD, implement robust financial controls, and improve the overall financial management and reporting infrastructure. Client Details Our East Kent based client, a growing, family-owned business, is seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a full-time and permanent basis. This role requires an on-site presence and welcomes driven, ambitious individuals who can excel in an inclusive environment that promotes a positive working culture where your voice can be heard. Description Management Accountant duties include: Oversee all day-to-day financial operations, including the preparation of monthly management accounts. Coordinate, analyse and report financial performance to Management and Board of Directors. Collaborate with department heads to embed financial insights into strategic and operational decisions, acting as a trusted finance partner across all business areas to support growth objectives. Develop scenario models and provide financial analysis to evaluate strategic expansion options. Identify and drive efficiencies across the organisation to improve profitability. Play an integral role in positioning the company for its next phase of growth by supporting commercial proposals, providing key insight, metrics and data for decision support purposes. Profile The successful Management Accountant should have/be: Formally Qualified or an ambitious Finalist (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA). Strong Management Accounting and Reporting experience, with expertise in financial controls, management reporting, cost analysis, and business partnering. The ability to clearly communicate technically complex financial issues. Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. A highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. MUST DRIVE due to location.
