Your new role as Management Accountant:
Your duties will include: Preparation of monthly reports for review, communication, and analysis All aspects of month-end reporting to the shareholders and cost centre managers Staff management and development of 2 direct reports Act as a key business partner to a wide range of stakeholders within finance and cross-functionally Working closely with the UK Financial Controller to understand the impact of Operational performance on UK results Monthly VAT and Intrastat submissions Assisting with the preparation and review of annual budgets Apply a continuous improvement ethos towards all processes and assist with the development and redesign of various reporting and analysis tools Manage and control customer pricing Administration of agent commission agreements ensuring all accruals and subsequent payments are in accordance with contractual agreements Manage HMRC requirements Liaising with both Internal and External auditors Acting as key support for the UK Financial Controller, providing cover when required Acting as the financial lead on various cross-functional projects as required Other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The successful Candidate shall be/have: Fully Qualified Accountant, or part qualified nearing completion Strong analytical skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail High level of Microsoft Excel skills including competency in dealing with high volumes of data; SAP experience preferred but not essential Proven commercial acumen within a manufacturing or engineering organization is desirable
