The role holder will be the key person in the production of the monthly management accounts for allocated process areas and will actively seek to improve processes and reports, while also providing clarity on the balance sheet position through the completion of account reconciliations. Prepare accurate, timely, and cost-effective management accounting information and highlight variances so that management can take effective action to improve operating performance. Assist in the collation of budget and forecast template information for designated management units and the subsequent analysis. Complete, with support, full reconciliations of balance sheet accounts for the area of responsibility. Actively seek, propose, and implement process improvements in the area of responsibility with fellow team members. Build effective working relationships with site and other management and address queries within the monthly accounts, ensuring relevant parties have the knowledge and training required to understand their accounts.
