Management Accountant Are you an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a successful local business to recruit for a dynamic Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The job is based in Craigavon. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a well-established company while working closely with the Financial Controller and Senior Management Team. The Management Accountant will be responsible for: Preparation of the month end pack including P&L, balance sheet, commentary and analysis Preparation of quarterly management accounts Budgeting and forecasting activities Supporting with year-end/audit Key player in streamlining existing processes within finance Supervising and mentoring the accounts team Monitoring the financial performance of the business, analysing trends and variances to produce reports. Continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and controls, from identifying opportunities to implementation. What you need to have for the Management Accountant role: Qualified accountant with professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA etc.) Proven experience in a management accounting role or similar. Good understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards. Thorough knowledge of financial operations and accounting principles. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and influence others. Strong Excel knowledge, including Pivots and look ups. Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a wider team.
