This is a very commercial Management Accounting role, with an opportunity to Business partner throughout the business working alongside both finance and non-finance staff. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating financial reports, budgeting, and managing financial processes. Client Details Our client is a leader in their industry. Description Contributing to the preparation of the consolidated annual budget and cash flow forecast for the Group. Assisting with writing the Group Budget management report. Collaborate with other teams to optimise financial performance. Monitor and analyse financial data. Identify opportunities for financial improvement and efficiency. Support the development and implementation of financial strategies. Participate in financial audits. Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts. Internal reporting to various stakeholders. Controlling expenditure and ensuring that it is incurred in line with approved budgets/forecasts. The role will involve business partnering with non-financial managers throughout the business. Analysing and investigating variances between actual and forecast/budgeted expenditure. Reviewing and seeking to enhance existing financial processes and procedures. Evaluating and advising on the financial implications of potential projects and investment decisions. Completing various elements of the month-end process, including analysing and investigating variances to forecast and budget, calculating month-end adjustments and reviewing activity for potential mis-postings or mistimed transactions. Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CIMA / ACCA - Finalist Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. A background in FMCG or Retail sectors / Business Partnering could be beneficial. Job Offer A competitive salary.
