Salary: GBP50000 - GBP55000 per annum + Enhanced benefits package Our client, a market leader in their industry, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial management information for senior management. With a competitive salary of £55,000 & a strong benefits package alongside, this role offers a chance to take the lead in ensuring key data is accurate and complete. As a Management Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and present accurate and timely financial management information for senior management. You will play a crucial role in producing monthly management accounts for review with senior managers, supporting the Finance Manager in producing robust monthly reports, assisting Finance Business Partners in implementing processes, and taking an active role in budget planning. Your ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and commitment to completing tasks within firm timeframes will be key to your success. In summary, you'll: Produce the monthly management accounts for the divisions which will be reviewed with senior managers. Support the Management Accounting Manager in the timely and accurate production of robust monthly reporting with an emphasis on variance analysis and budget deviations including insightful commentary. Assist the Finance Business Partners in implementing processes and ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies and procedures. Support others in Finance team with ad hoc requests relating to past or future performance. Take an active role in budget planning for the divisions together with FP&A. Assist in Cashflow forecasting. Package wise, alongside a salary of £50,000-£55,000 per annum, there is a host of additional benefits including 28 days holiday (plus BH), an enhanced pension scheme, an online discounts platform, & various other ancillary benefits! This is a hybrid role (2 days a week in the office).
