NXTGEN is seeking an exceptional Management Accountant to join a thriving company in an exciting period of growth. This Management Accountant position offers a unique opportunity for someone looking to transition from practice to industry or someone with experience in an SME business. As a Management Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in the business's financial strategy, working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis Support the forecasting process, including cash flow projections and variance analysis Oversee the preparation of year-end accounts, working closely with auditors and external advisors Maintain accurate records for accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections Reconcile balance sheets and ensure accuracy of financial data in line with accounting standards Coordinate VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations Work closely with department heads to provide financial insights and assist with budgeting Lead and maintain internal controls for financial processes, ensuring best practices are followed Manage and track project-specific financials, providing insights into cost management Assist in the preparation of key reports for senior management to support decision-making What We're Looking For: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or working towards, with a strong background in management accounting Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) Familiar with accounting systems such as Sage (desirable) Detail-focused with excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance teams Able to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment If you're looking for a role where you can make a direct impact on the business's financial strategy, this is an excellent opportunity.
