Management Accountant

to join our team. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with a mix of remote work and occasional office attendance, based in our head office. You will play a key part in providing financial insights, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information, and supporting strategic decision-making to drive profitability and performance across the Crerar Hotel Group. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts for the group, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. Analyse financial data to provide insights into business performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for cost control. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business goals. Support the preparation of financial reports for senior management, investors, and stakeholders. Monitor cash flow, managing working capital and ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations. Provide financial guidance to operational teams, helping to optimize resource allocation and improve financial performance. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Assist in the year-end audit process and the preparation of statutory accounts. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as required by senior management. Key Requirements Have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience in a management accounting role, ideally within the hospitality or service sector. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. High level of proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering excellence.
