Prepare the Group revenue budget and update it monthly. Compile the monthly management accounts package. Forecast cashflows to support financial planning. Collaborate with the Financial Accountant to complete funding body returns. Generate monthly analyses comparing actuals to budget across cost centres. Hold regular meetings with budget holders to support effective budget management. Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Upload payroll data to the finance system. Partner with the People and Culture team to accurately forecast staff costs using the staff establishment. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support Group-wide functions and maintain consistency in reporting data. Provide essential cover for key duties of other Finance team members as needed. The Successful Applicant Management Accountant:
CCAB Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant or significant relevant experience is essential; degree-level education or leadership/management qualifications are desirable. Proven experience in project management, working with senior decision-makers, and collaborating with loosely-structured groups. Proactive and adaptable with excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions; experience with Access Dimensions is a plus. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time and tasks effectively under pressure. Strong analytical mindset, flexible to change, and capable of presenting ideas in a user-friendly manner. Self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality outcomes and the ability to meet deadlines.
