Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be taking on a key role which combines a mix of traditional month-end technical accounting, management accounts and business partnering. You'll ensure a strong and robust month-end is delivered including preparation and reporting of P&L and B/S. You'll deliver the month end to the key stakeholders, providing value-added commentary and additionally partner with the Leaders in the business units. As the business further invests in technology, you'll work to improve controls and processes. You'll also be one of several key finance team members inputting to the budget / forecast as well as a key support for year-end activities covering audit, tax and statutory reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you should be a strong and proven all-rounder in accounting (both financial reporting and management accounts). A confident, relationship building approach is key for success as you'll be working throughout the business up to Board level. If you started your career in practice and are looking for a first move out but don't have commercial experience, please do apply!
