Management Accountant (18 Month FTC) Based in Stirling, FK7 9NS. Monday - Friday - 38.75 hours per week. Based in our Stirling Head Office, we have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team at Tilhill Forestry for a period of 18 months. This is a diverse role within a very busy department, assisting the Head of Finance with overseeing the financial activities of the organisation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial information. Key Responsibilities: Assisting Head of Finance with financial activities. Providing line management to a team of 4 employees. Preparation of monthly management accounts. Controlling month-end process with all necessary reconciliations and check lists. Assist with year-end statutory reporting and liaising with auditors as necessary. Management of the banking and payment process. Maintaining the cashflow forecasting model on a weekly basis. Overseeing the Purchase Ledger process. Approving suppliers ensuring IR35 compliance. ONS reporting. HMRC payments. Management of fixed assets. About You: Already qualified (CIMA / ACCA) with a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience in a similar busy finance environment, you will be highly organised and can effectively plan and prioritise a diverse workload. As an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, you have the ability to confidently communicate across all levels of the organisation. In addition to this, we are looking for: Excellent IT skills and working knowledge across Microsoft packages. Accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines. Experience of managing a team and developing colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated attitude, as well as a collaborative approach.
