Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will prepare, develop and analyse financial information assisting in the accurate and timely production of management accounts. This role is an excellent career development opportunity and a key role in the accounts department supporting the wider business in delivering timely and accurate information. You will be responsible for: Assist/prepare accurate monthly management accounts. Maintain month end reconciliation, accounting schedules, procedures and supporting documentation. Reviewing of coding, authorisation and posting of overhead invoices across a number of cost centres. Monthly analysis of overhead spend versus budget. Bank reconciliation. Sales ledger and raising of ad-hoc invoices. Support in year-end audit preparation and during year end statutory audits. Improving the current finance processes and procedures, and constantly seeking efficiencies. Preparing monthly VAT returns. Support financial compliance with financial governance requirements. Support the production of accurate and up to date management information for company reports. Monitoring and evaluating the financial information systems (Financial Force) suggesting improvements where needed. Supporting other finance activities and projects as required to assist business needs.
